Posted by: Suppo TITLE: AGE / VALUE:╩╩╩Help to decipher Evans serial number/model
Hey there enthusiasts. I have an Evans that I~m trying to get info on. Wondering what the year and model is and its value. Serial # E or F 127648B26. It is a two-speed with a Bendix brake with square fenders and had an amateur restore done at some time. Looks great and shifts and rides beautifully. I need to sell this beauty. Any info/help would be tremendously appreciated.

Not I. This site has a list of asking prices, which are upper limits. You can track ebay. But the only true value is the price the seller will accept and the buyer will pay- which can only be determined by selling it-

You might want to talk to Dave at Nostalgic.net- the one there

isn~t the same frame - yours has that cantilever style - by eye, I~m guessing yours might be a little later, mid to late 50s. Those look like middleweight tires, too.
Tom Findley says "The 2-speed cable operated hub was made from 1952 to 1961." A very cool feature.
