I had one of the few of these bikes in the SF Bay Area in 1993 it was stolen from me on the Oakland/Berkeley boarder near Ashby BART. It had fenders, drum breaks front and rear, a woman~s step thru frame original color was light blue but I had painted flames on it. It had a huge Wald basket on the front. I lent it to a friend who needed to get home late at night when his car was impounded. He locked it to itself in the entryway of an apartment and it was gone in the morning. I had hand built this entire bike from scratch and spent two years on it. It broke my heart to loose it. If you decide to sell yours please let me know. Most of them were melted down in scrap steel drives during World War II to make weapons. The company Peerless made rifles for warfare and bicycles.
