I thought I bought a 1956 Schwinn but the serial number, #TY90500556 has me concerned. It also has a silver Schwinn name plate on the head post, a silver spring by the handle bars, and the number "6100" on the chain guard. The serial number is under the pedal shaft. Can anyone help?

I have four bikes that I am trying to find out what year they were made. The first one is a man~s Roadmaster serial # E79975, the second is a ladies Columbia serial # K141980, third is a ladies Western Flyer F61223, and last but not least a ladies Murry Ohio Co. which has two numbers, one may be a model #, MO-P23 the second a serial # 64142. All the above bikes are skip tooth and the #~s are stamped on the bottom of the crank case. If anyone can help me identify the years these bikes were made I would very much appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

I~m trying to identify my bike, and no luck from anyone online yet, any ideas anyone? I think it is an inch pitch balloon tire middleweight, and that is all I have so far, any help appreciated. Let me know an email where I can send Photos, I can~t add them here for some reason, I have them on desktop and can send them in a personal email.
Thanks Will, Thorp, Washington 98946

in 1956, Schwinn serial numbers were on the left rear dropout. None of the lists I have access to indicate there was ever a Schwinn serial number that long. It may be fraudulent, or it may be an offshore reproduction. Can you contact the seller? Can we see a picture?
