Ihave three Heavy Duti frames: a black ~66 I Phantomized w/ hubcaps, tank w/ buzzers (a repro & a ~64 original), a chameleonized headbadge, a chrome chain, & a set of chrome 68-spoke Daytons wrapped in whitewall tires (the OG wheels & tires were already gone!); a black ~68 w/ only the fork, crank, Quality decal (which is also intact on my six-six!),sprocket, & headbadge; & a lemon yellow ~73 that I bought cheap simply because the front wheel was missing and the paint was ruined by a sloppy cream paintover. Just like any model Schwinn, they are worth investing time & effort into as well as its value depending on its condition.

your bike is not as old as some but still a nice bike and people are interested in them. you should fix it up and ride it. also it would be a good candidate for one of the chinese engines. the heave construction is good for that.
hope this helps.
