Posted by: david moore TITLE: AGE / VALUE: Value of a 1960 Schwinn Racer
I~ve come across a nice female 3 speed Schwinn Racer. According to the serial number, it~s a 1960 model. I thought about restoring it since there isn~t really much that needs to be restored but I guess restoration isn~t my thing. :-)

I~d like to sell it but I~m not sure what it~s worth. I~ve included a link that has some pictures of the bike. How much do you think I could get for this bike?

Oh, almost forgot, Always have the bike tuned up (bearings greased etc) before riding. So many people put air in the tires and take-off and then the bearings get ruined. Skip
