The Germans had different patterns of string skirt guards. Page after page of patterns. Intricate. expensive. A true lost art this is. You~d be stunned . The material waits to added to my web page. I told the Bugatti Trust people to go ----- themselves.

This is something I want to resurrect. Find the equipment and sit and learn to make skirt guards for ladies bikes fromt the 1900~s.

This material I have is the start.

Patterns varied, but the purpose was always the same - to keep the ladys skirts from getting in the spokes.
