Regarding a previous posting about a schwinn typhoon with the skip tooth set-up. Could I use a ~67 collegiate as a donor bike to swap the crank out?? and if I did would the skip tooth parts have any value?? Thanks gary

If the Collegiate is a 3 speed and not a 5 speed, I think it would work fine. You could just swap the chainring or the entire crank/ring assembly. The skiptooth parts may have some value depending on condition and what they are (Schwinn, etc.). The only skiptooth part that seems to consistantly bring bucks is the chain.
